The demon lies and will lead you astray,
He searches for ways to push you to the brink,
Making you lie, steal and even betray,
Not every minute of life you recall,
The liquid demon your life has erased,
Yeah just call him Ole Alcohol,
Your time, money and life he will waste,
Living your life trying to drown the pain,
Losing the morals on which you were raised,
For all your wrongs you try to explain,
You say your not addicted you just like the taste,
Covering up and trying to stall,
Thinking of ways to get your next drink,
Before you can walk you have to crawl,
Maybe your life you should rethink,
Before you start to bitch and complain,
Remember tomorrows another day,
And just try from the drink to refrain,
Or in Hell you will have to pay.
